Refund Policy

At Tabanca Restaurant & Bar, we value our guests and strive to provide exceptional dining experiences and service. This Refund Policy outlines our approach to cancellations, refunds, and related transactions for both in-person and online purchases.

Refund Policy - the basics

1. Restaurant Dining and Reservations

  • Cancellations:
    We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or modify a reservation, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled time.

  • Deposits:
    Some reservations, private events, or large party bookings may require a deposit. Deposits are non-refundable if cancellations occur less than 24 hours before the reservation time, unless otherwise stated.

  • No-Shows:
    Guests who do not arrive for their reservation without prior notice may forfeit their deposit or be charged a no-show fee, as applicable.

2. Online Orders and Takeaway

  • Orders placed through our website or third-party delivery partners are considered final once confirmed.

  • Refunds will be issued only in cases of:

    • Incorrect or missing items verified at the time of delivery or pickup

    • Unsatisfactory quality due to an error on our part

  • Refund requests must be made within 24 hours of the order, accompanied by the order number and receipt.

All approved refunds will be processed to the original method of payment within 5–10 business days.

3. Gift Cards and Vouchers

  • Gift cards and promotional vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • Lost or stolen cards cannot be replaced.

4. Private Events and Catering

  • Event deposits and catering prepayments are partially refundable if cancellation is made more than 7 days priorto the event date.

  • Cancellations within 7 days of the event may be subject to a 50% service charge to cover preparation costs.

  • If an event must be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances (such as severe weather or natural disaster), we will make every effort to reschedule or issue a credit toward future service.

 

5. Refund Processing

  Once a refund is approved:

  • It will be credited back to your original payment method.

  • Processing time depends on your payment provider (typically 5–10 business days).

  • We will send an email confirmation once your refund has been issued.

6. Exceptions

We reserve the right to decline refund requests that do not meet the above criteria, including:

  • Change of mind after service or consumption

  • Dissatisfaction unrelated to product quality or service error

  • Refund requests made after the applicable time window
